Knitting

I find knitting very relaxing and satisfying. I have a number of knitting books which are simply a wide variety of different patterns, from very simple to quite elaborate. This may sound strange, but there is something about ‘pattern’ that I find calming. It could be knitting patterns, drawing patterns, geometric patterns, traditional quilt patterns, patterns in fields or gardens, Celtic knot patterns ….. I’m sure you get the idea. Maybe that’s just the way my brain works.

I may have only worn some of these jumpers I’ve knitted a few times (that wouldn’t be because I have put on a bit of weight 🙂 but I’m still happy that I made them. It’s the ‘doing and completing of’ that gives me the satisfaction.
