Dimensional Quilts

I have always loved the concept of three dimensional work, whether that be visually three dimensional or actual three dimensional. Some of the quilts in this gallery are visually three dimensional and others are actually three dimensional. Each of these quilts were created simply because I wanted to and to learn a new technique.

I am in awe of artist who can draw realistically. Learning to draw realistically, or at least somewhat better than my current ‘stick figure’ ability (that’s on a good day:)) is on my ‘to do’ list when I retire 🙂
